The best digital sales room software for small teams

By Justin HamptonLast updated Reviewed by Justin HamptonHow we write these

Short answer

For small sales teams that run their own demos, AfterDemo is our top pick: one interactive proposal page per deal, built from the demo call, that buyers open without logging in and forward with a one-page business case. Aligned, Trumpet, Flowla, GetAccept, Dock and FuseBase are broader deal room and workspace tools, each priced and packaged differently.

Key takeaways

  • AfterDemo ranks first for small, demo-led teams: a proposal drafted from the call, no buyer login and a business case for the approver.
  • AfterDemo shows who opened the proposal, what they read and for how long, per person.
  • Aligned, Trumpet, Flowla, Dock and FuseBase list free plans, each with limits on rooms, Pods, portals or features.
  • We make AfterDemo; every competitor fact comes from that vendor's own public pages, dated.

The best digital sales room software for a small team is the one that fits what happens after your demo, not the one with the longest feature list. I make AfterDemo, which is on this list, so I've stated the criteria above and kept every competitor fact tied to that company's own pricing page. If you want the background on what a deal room should hold, our mutual action plan template covers the most common piece. For one-to-one comparisons, see the compare hub.

AfterDemo

AfterDemo gives each deal one interactive proposal page, built from your demo call. Paste a transcript or notes, and AI drafts the buyer's problems in their own words; you approve it. Each problem gets your solution, with videos, images or files. Pricing shows 1-, 2- and 3-year terms, and the buyer accepts with one click.

Buyers never log in. They can share the page (each colleague gets their own link), print it, and build a one-page business case for their approver. You see who opened it, which sections they read and for how long, and who it was shared with. Each deal gets a temperature (hot, warm, cooling, dead) and a next-step plan, and AI drafts follow-ups in your writing style. HubSpot logging is included, and everything is on one plan, billed monthly or annually.

Best for: small teams that run their own demos and want deals to keep moving after the proposal. See the live example to judge for yourself.

Aligned

Aligned is a digital sales room with mutual action plans, stakeholder maps and room analytics, and a free Starter plan of up to 4 rooms per seat. Its AI features are on Pro. Read AfterDemo vs Aligned for a full comparison.

Trumpet

Trumpet calls its rooms Pods, with a free plan of 10 Pods per account and unlimited users. Pro, for up to five users, adds unlimited Pods, AI engagement scores and two-way CRM sync.

Flowla

Flowla puts its AI on every plan, including its REX agent and AI room and document generation, using credits. Starter is free for up to 20 rooms, and Team is per seat, rolling monthly with no minimum.

GetAccept

GetAccept combines a digital sales room with document tools. Professional adds deal rooms, mutual action plans, GetAccept AI and document tracking, with a five-user minimum and annual payment.

Dock

Dock prices by plan with users included rather than per seat: Standard includes five users and Premium ten. It also offers order forms, playbooks and courses, and says prospects and clients get free access.

FuseBase

FuseBase is a client portal and collaboration platform that also offers Deal Rooms, priced per workspace with AI agents, automations and transcriptions. It says agencies and consultancies choose it for client portals. See FuseBase alternatives.

What a small team needs from a digital sales room

Enterprise deal rooms are built for long cycles with many people on both sides. A small team that runs its own demos usually needs something tighter:

One place the buyer actually opens. If your buyer has to log in, find a room and click through tabs to reach the price, many won't. The fewer steps between the link and the decision, the better.

Words the champion can reuse. Your contact has to explain the purchase to someone you've never met. Give them the problem in their own words and a short business case they can forward.

Pricing that's easy to compare. Lay out the options side by side so the approver can see the trade-off at a glance.

Signals you can act on. Knowing that the approver opened the pricing today is worth more than a dashboard of page views. Look for tracking per person, and for a clear sense of which deals are hot and which are cooling.

Setup measured in minutes. If building a room takes longer than writing the follow-up email, it won't happen on every deal.

How to pick in five minutes

  1. Write down what happens after your demo. If deals go quiet after the proposal, start there.
  2. Count who has to agree on the buyer's side. The more people, the more per-person sharing and a business case matter.
  3. Price it at your team size in a year, using the five-seat column and the seat rules in the sources.
  4. Send one real deal through a trial, and open it on your phone as the buyer would.

For small teams that run their own demos, start with the AfterDemo live example.

Questions people ask

What is a digital sales room?

A shared web page or space for one deal, where the seller puts everything the buyer needs (proposal, pricing, videos, files, next steps) and the buyer's team can read, share and act on it. Most also show the seller who engaged with what.

Is there free digital sales room software?

Aligned, Trumpet, Flowla, Dock and FuseBase each list a free plan, with limits on rooms, Pods, portals or features. AfterDemo offers a 30-day free trial with every feature included and no card.

Do buyers need to log in to a digital sales room?

It varies. Aligned's FAQ says its buyers don't need a log-in, and AfterDemo buyers never create an account. For other tools we couldn't confirm it on their public pages, so check during a trial.

Why is AfterDemo ranked first?

We ranked against criteria built for small teams that run their own demos: getting a proposal read, shared and approved after the demo. AfterDemo is built for exactly that job. We make it, and we disclose that in the criteria above.
