AI proposal generator: paste your call notes, get a proposal draft

Paste your sales call notes or a transcript. The AI proposal generator picks out the problems the buyer raised, quotes their exact words, and drafts a first answer to each. Say what you sell and the answers get specific. You also get any next steps your notes mention. It's free once you confirm your email, and nothing you paste is saved.

  • It returns 2 to 6 buyer problems, most important first, each with a first-draft answer.
  • Quotes are copied exactly from your notes; if your notes only paraphrase, there is no quote.
  • It never adds features, prices, discounts, trials, guarantees or timelines you didn't give it.
  • Paste what the buyer said rather than your summary, and add one plain sentence on what you sell.
  • Notes need at least 80 characters and can run to 12,000; remove anything confidential first.

First, confirm your email

We’ll send you a link. Once you click it, the generator opens here.

We use your email to confirm it’s you and may follow up about AfterDemo. We never share it, and we don’t save the notes you paste.

Example output, from these fictional notes

Call with Dana (ops manager) at Juniper Row Plumbing, a fictional example company. 14 technicians. - "Every morning I spend two hours on the phone shuffling jobs around when someone calls in sick." - "Customers call asking where the tech is. Half our phone time is that." - They lose jobs when a customer isn't home: "we drove 40 minutes for nothing three times last week." - Using a whiteboard plus a shared spreadsheet today. - Dana needs sign-off from the owner, Marcus. Wants something to show him by Friday. - Next: send a proposal by Thursday; Marcus joins a 20-minute call next Tuesday.

Proposal draft for Juniper Row Plumbing

What you told us, and how we help

  1. Rescheduling the day by phone eats two hours every morning

“Every morning I spend two hours on the phone shuffling jobs around when someone calls in sick.”

How we help: The dispatch board shows every technician's day in one view, so a sick call becomes a drag-and-drop instead of a round of phone calls.

  2. Where's-my-technician calls take half the phone time

“Customers call asking where the tech is. Half our phone time is that.”

How we help: Customer text reminders tell people when the technician is on the way, which answers the question before they pick up the phone.

  3. Wasted trips when customers aren't home

“we drove 40 minutes for nothing three times last week.”

How we help: Reminder texts ask customers to confirm they'll be home, so the dispatcher can move a job before a technician drives out.

Next steps

  • Send the proposal by Thursday
  • 20-minute call with Marcus (owner) next Tuesday

A first draft from AI: check every line before you send it. Quotes come only from your notes.

Most AI proposal generators start from a blank prompt and produce a page of confident filler. This AI proposal generator starts from what your buyer actually said. It finds the problems in your notes, keeps the buyer's own words, and drafts an answer to each. That's the part of a proposal that's hardest to write and the part buyers read most closely.

How the draft is made

When you click Draft the proposal, your notes (and what you sell, if you filled it in) go to our AI provider, Anthropic. Claude reads them and returns:

  • 2 to 6 problems the buyer raised, most important first. Duplicates are merged and small talk is skipped.
  • The buyer's words for each problem, copied exactly from your notes. If your notes only paraphrase, there's no quote. It never invents or polishes one.
  • A one-line version of each problem, in plain language the buyer would recognise.
  • A first-draft answer to each problem. If you said what you sell, the answer uses only what you described. If you left it blank, or your description doesn't cover a problem, you get a note on what a good answer should show instead.
  • Next steps, but only the ones your notes mention. It doesn't add its own.

It's told never to add features, prices, discounts, trials, guarantees or timelines you didn't give it.

Limits

  • Notes need at least 80 characters and can run to 12,000.
  • "What you sell" can be up to 300 characters.
  • Each visitor gets a few drafts an hour.
  • At times the AI drafting is switched off or has reached its limit. When that happens you'll see a message, and the example on the page still shows what you'd get.

Getting a better draft

  • Paste what the buyer said, not your summary of it. Quotes can only come from your notes. "Customer has scheduling issues" gives the AI nothing to quote. A line in quotation marks gives it everything.
  • Fill in "What you sell". One plain sentence on what your product does turns vague answers into specific ones. List capabilities, not adjectives.
  • Trim the small talk from long transcripts. Keep the parts where the buyer describes problems, costs and who decides.
  • Take out anything confidential before you paste: names you shouldn't share, contract figures, anything under NDA.

How to use the result

Treat it as a first draft and check every line. Then:

  1. Copy it as text and paste it into your proposal as the opening section. The buyer's problems, in their words, go first. Your product comes second.
  2. Rewrite each answer in your own voice, and add proof: a short video, a screenshot, a customer example you're allowed to use.
  3. Add pricing and next steps. Our sales proposal template shows what comes after the problems, and how to write a sales proposal explains why the order matters.
  4. Send a short recap the same day. See the follow-up email preview for how AfterDemo writes one in your tone.

Doing this inside AfterDemo

This tool is the first step AfterDemo takes with a call transcript. In the product, the problems open an interactive proposal page your buyer opens with a link, alongside your answers, 1-, 2- and 3-year pricing, a business case for their approver and one-click acceptance. You see who reads it and where they spend their time. Click through the live example proposal, see AI proposal drafts, or start a free trial.

Privacy

We don't save what you paste, and we don't use it for anything else. To enforce the hourly limit, the server keeps a salted hash in memory, not your IP address. If you're pasting a real call, remove anything confidential first.

Questions people ask

Is the AI proposal generator free?

Yes. You confirm your email once (we send you a link), then it's free to use, with a limit of a few drafts an hour so it stays available for everyone.

Do you save my call notes?

No. Your notes go to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the draft. We don't keep them or use them for anything else. Remove anything confidential before you paste.

What does it write?

The core of a proposal: the buyer's problems in their words, a first-draft answer to each, and the next steps from your notes. Prices and terms stay yours. Inside AfterDemo, the full proposal page comes together around them.

Why can't I click Draft the proposal?

Either your notes are too short to work with (it needs at least 80 characters), or the AI drafting is switched off or at its limit for now. The example on the page still shows what you'd get.

Which AI model does it use?

Anthropic's Claude.
